Psalm 1

BOOK I
Psalms 1–41
 1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.  4 Not so the wicked!
   They are like chaff
   that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

  1. verse 1; i think that this verse is saying that we need to steer clear from becoming like non christians. not saying that we shouldnt be friends with the becaus in order to spread the word we need to be close to those that need to be guided in the right direction. and in verse 2 i think it says that we need to keep our fellow Christians closer to us than anyone else.. because they are our support here on this world. in verse 3 it says we are like trees planted by streams of water..which yields fruit in its season. our season is whenever god gives us the chance to spread his word! and it says we will not wither meaning that God will give us the strength to persevere! in 5 and 6 i feel its saying what exactly is written just letting us know that God always has our back no matter what! and that those who do not follow him will without a doubt end up in not such a good place..
